There are seven possible cases for the background. Some are random gradients; several are small image files tiling the canvas. The Nations background is a matte of tiny flags. Still to onlinee: the canvas (and its population) jerks a little to the side when some modals appear or are banished. Work is being done. Note that both modals can be called at the same time and this one always "wins."
